      昆特依盐湖位于柴达木盆地西北部,是一个受周围影响较小的相对独立的沉积盆地,可反映柴达木盆地西北部的演化历史,对研究柴达木盆地盐湖演化有重要意义。本文基于近年来国内外学者对该地区的研究,采用更全面的地质资料对昆特依盐湖地质与盐类矿产资源特征进行了总结与分析,得到以下结论:1) 昆特依盐湖最早成盐期为1150 ka,1925 ka ~ 774 期间以暖湿型气候为主,其后呈干冷与暖湿气候交替出现,最终于30.6 ka成为干盐湖,昆特依盆地早期沉积的细碎屑沉积物沉积速率(0.22 mm/a)慢于晚期沉积的石盐层(0.33 mm/a);2) 昆特依盐湖液体KCl储量为1.32亿吨,MgCl储量为2.79亿吨,NaCl储量为24.15亿吨。3) 估算出赋存于昆特依盐湖石盐矿中的锂资源量达39万吨,同时估算出液体中的锂资源量约有74万吨,二者总量达百万吨;4) 昆特依矿田的成因属典型的内陆湖相沉积,成矿控制因素以构造作用为主,其次为气候与物质来源。关于昆特依盐湖沉积特征与盐类矿产资源特征的研究,有利于对本地区地质演化有更全面的认识,对合理开发利用盐类资源有重要意义。

      Kunteyi basin is located in the northwest of Qaidam basin,it’s a relatively independent sedimentary basin which is less affected by the surroundings, It can reflect the evolution of the northwest of Qaidam basin and has important significances in understanding formation and evolution of Qaidam Basin. Base on reviewing former studies and more comprehensive geological investigations, this paper analyzes geological characteristics and assesses salt mineral resources in Kunteyi basin. Through comprehensive comparison, it concludes that:1) Paleoclimatology and geochronology indicate the first period of salt formation in Kunteyi salt lake began at 1150 ka, climate was warm-humid from 1925 ka ~ 774 ka, cold-dry and warm-humid appeared alternately after 774 ka, and Kunteyi salt lake became playa at 30.6 ka. The deposition rate of fine clastic deposits during the early period(0.22 mm/a) is slower than salt(0.33 mm/a). 2) There are 132 millon tons of KCl, 279 million tons of MgCl and 2.415 billion tons of NaCl in Kunteyi Basin. 3) This paper estimates lithium resources in halite reach 390 thousand tons, and calculates lithium resources in brine are about 740 thousand tons by geological analogy, there are over 1 million tons lithium resources in total. 4) Kunteyi salt lake is typical inland lacustrine deposit, the metallogenic factors is mainly tectonism, then they are climate and source. Studying the sedimentary characteristics and assessing salt mineral resources are benefit to comprehend the geological evolution in Kunteyi salt lake, they have great significance for exploitation.
